Hello everyone, I’m so sorry that I’ve been MIA!! If you don’t know this already, I’m actually in the middle of planning my wedding. With that being said.. It’s been pretty darn crazy over here. I constantly think of ideas for my next post and take pictures of my food to not even remember that I have them.
With out further delay, here are my extremely easy and delicious “PB&J Protein Waffles”…
These are extremely easy due to the fact that you are not having to worry about mixing in so many ingredients. Usually, the phrase “clean eating” tends to scare peeps away when indeed it shouldn’t. “Clean eating” doesn’t at all have to mean spending 6 hours in the kitchen cooking for an army (which in this case, is just you).
What you’ll need:
- Peanut Butter (I use different ones constantly, but basically make sure that you read the ingredients and it doesn’t consist of more than 2 things; peanuts and salt).
- Blueberries (fresh or frozen, both work)
- Birch Benders Protein Mix
- Organic Whole Flaxseeds
In a bowl, add the Birch Benders Protein mix (or any other favorite protein pancake/ waffle mix that you may have) adding your instructed amount of milk. I use almond milk not only because it’s healthier for me, but also because I’m dairy free. Than, add a cup of blueberries and the flaxseeds for an extra boost of Omega- 3 and that great nutty flavor. Throw all of that in a waffle maker and bam.. you’ve got yourself PBnJ Protein Waffles!!
Next step (while you’re enjoying these delicious waffles), let me know what your thoughts were and share if you want your family/ friends to fall in love with waffles again.
As always, thank you so much for stopping by and taking your time to discover a new twist on waffles. Until next time friends!
